We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major electrical packages on a large-scale steel manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and programme delivery, managing multiple subcontractors, and liaising closely with the client to achieve all project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of all electrical works, including high-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems, motor control centres, instrumentation, and process automation systems
Ensure all works are delivered in line with contractual specifications, project schedule, and budget
Lead electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe systems of work and high-quality installations
Develop and monitor the project Quality Plan and inspection/test plans in collaboration with QA/QC teams
Liaise directly with the client on progress, technical queries, and issue resolution
Oversee testing, commissioning, and structured handover of electrical systems to operations teams
Coordinate closely with mechanical and CSA teams to ensure seamless integration across all disciplines
Candidate Profile:
Electrical engineering degree or trade qualification in an electrical discipline
Proven experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale industrial or steel plant projects
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large site teams and multiple subcontractors
In-depth knowledge of high-voltage distribution, control systems, and industrial process automation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
Must hold an EU passport to work in Sweden without visa sponsorship
